Puppy Training

Early obedience, socialization & behavior
COVID-19 Guidelines: Trainers are fully vaccinated and wear masks indoors. Classes are set up to maintain 6-foot distancing, and we ask that masks be worn at indoor classes. If you are ill, have any symptoms, think you may have been exposed or have tested positive COVID-19, DO NOT attend class/sessions and notify us immediately so we can take the necessary measures.

Because early learning and socialization is so highly important, we've provided some essential early training and behavior tips on our Canine Resources page. We also have a few training options to help get your puppy started off on the right paw.

Puppy Jumpstart

In-home, ages 2-5 months.

We can help teach your family the basics of puppy raising, how to properly manage and prevent behavior issues from developing, and begin early training techniques to help you and your puppy communicate. We'll spend two hours covering information and showing you how to begin teaching basic commands, focusing the session on you and puppy's needs.

When your puppy is mature enough to begin in-home training, we'll apply your Puppy Jumpstart tuition towards your next in-home training program.

  • Two-hour in-home session
  • Tuition is applied toward a future in-home training program
  • Continued phone and email support
  • For puppies 8 weeks to 5 months old

Puppy Pre K-9

6-week class, ages 3-5 months.

We highly encourage you to attend a puppy class for early learning, and most importantly socialization. Our 6-week classes include a video orientation for new clients to attend before class begins to cover everything you should be addressing at home to strengthen the bond with your puppy, as well as the theories and methods to understand, solve and prevent behavior problems. Class focus will consist of early learning of obedience (focusing, Sit, Down, Stay, Come and walking on leash) while addressing manners and socialization exercises. Your puppy will also have time to learn appropriate play and interactions with their classmates.

You can continue your puppy's training at our Basic Obdience class when they reach 6 months old for a discounted rate.
